Restless

Phoned a friend (I think) whom I was missing,
Although I  never knew the man.
We talked of things (I think) that never happened -
And expressed our hope they'd happen - soon - again.
I woke up to find that I was dreaming -
Went back to sleep and dreamed - I was awake,
I hope that nightmare finds another rider,
If not for mine - I hope for her own sake.
